Greenhouse capping

Recently installed a 6x12 single pane greenhouse. Purchased a set of glazing bar plastic cappings as an extra. Have put the clips on but cannot click the cappings into place. Took the clips out and put the capping in on its own. Would like to know if you use both as I was advised or one or the other. Any help would be appreciated as during the strong wind last night the capping flew off and glass dropped but luckily did not fall out

    Not sure which manufacturer I looked at but they had wire clips and capping. If you didn't use the capping it's was a different clip
