Having sourced the seeds on-line, ordered 2 packets (6 in each) sowed them end of March and their coming on strong BUT to me their not turning Red, that's not what they said on the packet.  I have always wanted Castor oil plants dotted around our garden as it's tiered , slopping and steps up to the top with fab views of the Valley we are in. So fellow gardeners do you have any ideas what's happening , has anyone got green-fingers to help me out.

    Don't worry, they will turn red when they are outside in the sun. It is a gradual process. Mine all look the same at the moment.
    There are ashtrays of emulsion,
    for the fag ends of the aristocracy.

    Roll on the sun then !.  They are growing strong at the moment so will wait until the roots are strong in the mean time work out where they will look best in our steep garden here in South Wales. Castor-oil plants have been on my wanted list for a few years now after seeing them in Carol Kleins 'hot-bed'. Now I know be patient. thanks Punkdoc.
