Plant id please

I bought these shrubs from a local nursery at the weekend and the chap did tell me what they are but I'd forgotten even by the time I got home.

Any ideas please?

    The first one is an euronymus, possibly 'Emerald and Gold' I think. Not sure about the second - sorry.

    I think the first is golden privet.

    I'd agree - the first is privet.
    I don't know what the other one is, but it doesn't look too great. The photo isn't very clear.
    Does it have thorns of any kind?
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....



    I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

    1st one’s a privet don’t know the 2nd.
    A clearer photo would help.
    Gardening on the wild, windy west side of Dartmoor.

    I think you're all right about the privet, just had a second look.- sorry.

    Thank you for your replies. I don't recall him saying privet but I'm grateful for the identification. The 2nd one is better than it looks in the photo but I can't take any more photos just now because it's been raining ever since I posted :(
