Best Perennial Weed remover tool?

I've looked at 100s of these on Amazon and can't make out if any of them will work - can anyone recommend a decent tool for lifting Dandelions etc which doesn't cost the earth!?

I just use the basic two pronged hand weeder. Most of them cost less than a fiver.

My Hori hori knife is great for deepish rooted things, such as geraniums which grow like weeds in my garden. Dandelions... it depends on how deep the roots go. I used a big fork when digging up my water irises recently.

I really like this Fiskar tool for pulling dandylions and other taprooted weeds from the lawn. A most satisfying task and quite easy when the ground is moist. The resulting holes can be left or filled with an appropriate mix of sand / compost as you feel inclined.

To pull out deep rooted weeds like dock and dandelions especially in flower beds, I push a fork in beside it as deep as I can and wiggle about. The fill with water, maybe a few times until it's a bit 'soupy' then a good firm steady pull gets it all (generally) out.

I also have the fiskar one.......... definitely takes the hard work out of weeding the bigger weeds.......very rarely get the entire root though, but that's ok

@Acuwell I'm with @Obelixx bought the wolf weeder and find it's great at getting deep roots out. Also worked great for single blub planting and my wild flower plug plants making neat little holes just the right size

Funny isn't it? I love Wolf Garten tools and have many of the attachments and several handles. This weed thingy is the only one I can't get on with. No idea why - maybe I'm not using it correctly. I find the Fiskar tool quick and easy.
