Hi all this has proberly been the most asked question but when monty feeds his plants the maxixrop seaweed fertilizer is very dark almost neat, does he use it neat and also, i do my own seaweed fertilizer which is not as dark, i leave my seaweed for about 6 months b4 i use it

    When Monty adds seaweed extract to his watering can he just pours some in then adds water. He does seem to pour quite a lot in.
    As it's not cheap, I measure it out as recommended on the label - 5ml per litre of water.
    The bottle does need a shake before using as the seaweed sludge settles on the bottom
    Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit.
    Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad.

    I don't watch it, but any proprietary brand of seaweed will need diluting as per the instructions, unless it's an already diluted product.
    I would agree that using more than the recommended amount is wasteful. More isn't always better anyway.  :)
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
