Mystery plant

Juniper4Juniper4 CheshirePosts: 77
It’s been growing over the past few months (3 of them).
Today I pulled one out to see if it had a bulb.
I thought it could have been a spring onion but it doesn’t have the tube leaves. It’s has a smell of an onion.
I didn’t plant it, so it’s a mystery of where it came from or what it is.
I added an app on my phone called “picture this”. Sort of a plant identity app and it came up with the suggestion (see photo).

Does anyone have any ideas?

It looks like common old garden garlic to me, but there are several wild aliums that look similar like sand leeks.
