Plant ID - jasmine?
in Plants
Hello everyone,
This is my first post on this forum and I wonder if anyone can tell me what this plant is? It was there when I moved into the house growing up an archway. I thought it was a jasmine, but in a year it has not flowered. There is evidence of pruning from the previous owners. It is also quite a shady spot so I would have thought not ideal for a Jasmine to climb - if in fact it is one!
Any ideas welcome!
Thanks,
Lucy

It would be much happier in the sun

What do you think my chances are of moving it successfully?
It would depend on how established it is and the size of the root system.
If you do decide to try and move it and it is established, it's best to cut it back quite a bit so the roots don't have to overwork to supply too many leaves with water.
If you have a pic of the whole plant, someone may be able to suggest the best method.
