Plants for a tall/thin pot

We have a terracotta pot 25cm in diameter and 40cm in height which we’re struggling to think what would survive in there and looking for suggestions.

Looking for something with year round interest and some thing for the pollinators (and something that fits with a country garden) if possible (maybe a trailing herb?)

Most likely be placed in a position which east to south east facing.

Can you suggest anything that might be suitable?

    Not sure, but you'd better not get anything too tall as it would be unstable.
    A pot with only trailing lobelia can look like a fountain
    In London. Keen but lazy.
