WHAT ARE THESE PLANTS?

Please can I get help identifying these plants.

    The first one may be Leucothoe axillaris 'Curly Red' and the second one may be a Cistus.

    I wondered if the top one could be Lophomyrtus (Red Dragon?).

    Is the second one a type of camelia? Looks lovely

    I'd go with camelia for the second one.  
    The leaves are wrong for cistus.  

    Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

    Second one is a camellia, if the leaves and buds are anything to go by.
