Yellow Foliage Houseplants?

endakellyendakelly Posts: 15
Hello,

I am looking for a yellow leaf houseplant. Ideally, something tall to go at the end of a sofa.

Any recommendations?

Thanks

Don't think you will find a real plant this colour but there are several variegated ones here

There are some nice sansevieria/dracaenas that have golden edged leaves and grow tall. Not totally yellow but the darker shades help to accentuate the bits that are.
Tradition is just peer pressure from dead people

Thank you all - I think a Croton is the winner for me.

Croton aren't the easiest of house plants so check you can give it the right position and growing conditions.
If not I'd go with the sansevieria which is pretty bomb proof.

I have very dark green fingers, can grow almost anything,it's always given the correct amount of light, humidity, sun, food, water yet ,NEVER managed to keep indoor fern of any kind

Croton is poisonous and sap can irritate, just wanted to let you know, although I am sure s lot of them are,we don't go round rating them. There aren't that many yellow leaf plants. Is it to go with your decor,?
