Flowering climber for 1.5m obelisk

Hi- I’m looking for a fairly small climber for a 1.5m high obelisk. Ideally flowering summertime, it’s a sunny spot and evergreen would be even better but not essential as the obelisk is lovely anyway! Would love a rose, like solanum but I think they reach higher than the obelisk. Thanks

Solanum grow absolutely huge. I recommend one of the repeat flowering clematis in the Boulevard series.

There are some lovely, small, climbing roses.

I think I'm right in saying that most of the evergreen clems are winter or spring flowering. Climber Graham Thomas gets good reviews.

Are you looking to plant into the ground?
