Container for Blackberry in a shallow space

By the entrance to my garage I have a sheltered wall on the South Side of the house, next to the entrance to my garage, facing West.
I would like to have a container grown blackberry next to it, growing up the wall. The blackberry is Black Butte.
My thought is to use a container approx 9-12 inches front to back, 12-18" deep, and perhaps 24" wide.
A couple of piccies - the garage door on the left faces south. the gravel border is approx 9” front to back. For a scale, the wall is about 5ft'6" high.
Would that work, do you think?
