Another plant ID

hello everyone. I’m sure you are all asked a lot to ID a plant so this time it’s my turn. This has appeared in my border and I think it’s some sort of herbaceous perennial but can’t be certain. Any ideas?

My first thought was one of the poppies, but not in any way sure

Maybe poached egg plant - Limnanthes Douglassi?

I always work on the principle that if I didn’t plant it, it must be a weed. Rarely anything exotic appears from no where.
