Can anyone help id these 4 plants that have appeared around my bay tree? I’ve run them through an app but not sure of results.1, 2 and 3 look similar so could be the same plant. Thanks
The first 3 all look like Lonicera (honeysuckle) of some type(s). The last one is a weed, Galium aparine and is known by lots of common names - get that out whenever you see it and certainly before the tiny flowers appears. Like the leaves, the seeds stick to clothes, fur etc. and it grows like wildfire.
A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.
Thanks very much Bob. I was hoping those leaves might be honeysuckle. I'll wait to see what develops to further identify the specific type and make sure I get rid of the galium quickly!
