Plant Passport

chucklezchucklez Posts: 2
Hi all,

I love propagation and grow our own bedding plants, however, I always have surplus. Can I take these to a car boot?

I have looked at the rules surrounding plant passports but it seems to be a bit of a grey area and I'm unsure if I can sell my surplus without them. Can anyone clarify it please?

Thanks so much.

I don’t see why not, I belong to a local Facebook selling page, there’s always plants for sale on there.

I think it is OK if it is just in this country and you are not doing it commercially.
I may be wrong though  :/

The rules haven't changed for mainland UK so no reason why you cannot take your surplus to a car boot sale.
If you suspect any buyer may be intending to export the plants, you would need to inform them of the present rules and regs.
Bit unlikely tho so I'd say go ahead  :)
