About to buy a Exochorda Niagra/Pearl Bush for planting in a pot, then sink into the raised bed as I’m concerned about the spreading of the root to the rest of area. Is this doable or not, HELP!!

Don't know the answer but you need a more descriptive title to your thread if you're going to get the answer you need.

    In London. Keen but lazy.

Hi and welcome to the forum.
As the RHS states "it can be grown in the border or in a big pot on the patio", then presumably it can be grown in a big pot in the border.

Can I plant the shrub Pearlbush in a pot & then sink the pot in a raised bed without the root ball taking over the complete bed or will the shrub get too big for the raised bed🤔

Can't really answer that unless we know how big the raised bed is, can we?   We need  length, breadth, and height ... and what's underneath it.  The position ... full sun, shade or semi-shade will all affect how your shrub will grow.  Is it in a sheltered spot or does it get strong winds?  And what part of the world are you in ... sunny and warm down south or the north with cooler temperatures and shorter summers?

We also need to know what the raised bed is filled with ... multi-purpose compost, or loam-based or what ... ?

And what else will be growing in the raised bed?

Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
