Issues with Buxus hedging

Hi all - 

Recently planted a row of Buxus hedging (Autumn 2020). Have recently noticed that some of the leaves are turning whiteish and becoming very crispy. Was wondering if this is as a result of under watering, or something more intrusive?

It looks like the effect of drought to me, rather than disease. It’s been a very dry spring.

Could be winter burn. If it was planted last autumn, the new growth produced late in the season will be susceptible to damage given the recent cold, dry weather. Wait until it’s warmer (night temps not freezing) to prune the damaged foliage off using a clean, sharp pair of secateurs.
