They're not the most hardy of plants and it's been cold. Mine isn't quite that bad but is looking decidedly ropy. The only thing to do is wait and see if they put on fresh growth from lower down, and if it does we can cut back the dead bits.

@JennyJ thanks for the info. I just gave it a ‘wiggle’ and there’s no resistance at all, it’s pretty much fallen out of its planting hole. I think it may be too far gone. Sad!
