Frost Damage?

I planted a couple of Nandina Domesticas last month and the new growth isn't looking very happy. I'm assuming (hoping) it's just frost damage but am after a second opinion in case it's something to do with its planting.

  • I don't know the plant but looks like frost damage to me. Leave it on for now until last frost date. By then you may see new growth from below damage points.

The older leaves look fine, so I agree that the frost has likely damaged the new, more delicate growth at the growing point.
A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.
  • Thanks @shane.farrell and @BobTheGardener 🙂 I thought as much but wanted to check in case there was anything that needed doing beyond snipping the damaged growth after last frost.
