Saved petunia seeds

Hi all

I’ve just sewn some petunia seeds that I saved from last years plants; already had a very successful germination rate well above last year’s ones. 

I know they won’t come true from seed but is there any way to tell what type I’ll get. All I had planted last year were bedding petunias and a handful of tower petunias, I’m guessing therefore they will likely keep their type but what about colours? All mine last year were very plain colours, pale purples, whites, etc. Is there a danger they will all be white?

I did the same last year and got a range of colours, roughly matching the parent plants (which were mixed pastel shades) but some had stronger colours.
