prunus incisa the bride

Hi everyone
I’m after some help please. We bought two “prunus incisa the bride” this weekend, initially bought for two large pots but we’ve now decided to put them in the ground. But I’m worried I may of put one too near to a fence / dwarf wall . Can anyone tell me if a metre away from a wall is sufficient please? Also whilst I want the tree to grow I’d like to maintain it eventually to about 2m height can anyone please tell me how I should do that please?
perhaps I should of stuck to my original plan of keeping them in pots !
