What is this please?

I’ve moved into a house before Christmas and my garden is now filling with beautiful flowers. I asked the old owner what this is as I like the look of it and wondered what it looks like in flower and what to do with it. She says it’s a weed. It looks like an awesome weed and I wondered if I plant the seed what it will look like. Has anyone seen this before, if so what is it please?

Thornapple ... Datura stramonium ... pretty flowers but toxic so keep small children away from it if you decide to grow it.  I usually let it flower but then pull it up before the seeds develop.

yeah, I think you're right. Ricinus tend to have a spike of seeds.

Yes, it’s definitely that. I’m glad I asked now. I have a cat so shan’t be growing it.  Thankyou
