Just curious. My Acer produces loads of seeds every year. The odd bee takes an interest in the blossom but I have never seen a seedling. Are they sterile or is it just the wrong conditions?
I have a mature palmatum disectum and when I used to have a gravel drive, some years I'd find loads of seedlings popping up. I did pot some up but after about 2 years they were only about 3" and I lost interest.
Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit. Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad.
