Plant ID please

Hello! This may be a long shot but can anyone ID this small tree please? I inherited it with the house and have never been able to find out what it is. It has clusters of small white flowers around the end of April beginning of May. Not evergreen and has small, brown seed pods over winter which I've tried to show in the photo. It is about 7 ft high.
