Aren't they gorgeous creatures? I had to fish out a baby hare that fell in our pond but it seemed a pretty good swimmer.

It is an uphill struggle as we all plant things that are beneficial (at least I hope we do) but the insects still disappear. I noticed a lot more insects around during the first lockdown when there were no cars about.

Thank you, Ceres. Yes, fewer ladybirds have hibernated in the house this year. But I did nearly sit on a queen wasp the other day. 😊
