Dahlia help - keep indoor a bit longer or move to cold frame?

Im glad I’m not the only one who feels like I have to take time off work just so I have a full week at least to harden off my seedlings properly prior to planting out..! Most gardening guides say it as though everybody can easily afford to take seedlings in and out every day for a week like it’s just another trip to the supermarket..!

By the way, regarding the photos loading sideways, if you edit the photos (even if just a slight crop or minor change in brightness) it will load vertically.. not sure why but that’s the way to get around the glitch.

@celcius_kkw. thanks for the photo tip ... I felt last summer I became a slave to the watering  of all the grown up seedlings !!! it doesn't stop

@selinasally I understand totally.  I have lots of potted roses on my balcony and each require a good 5-10 litres each time I water.. at the peak of summer I often have to do that twice or thrice.. the number of times I have to go back and forth from the tap.. I’ve lost count lol!
