Battery operated lawnmower

Hi guys!!
My dad can't manage his petrol lawnmower.he has advanced dementia sadly..mum wants to buy a gtech battery operated one which her friend has just bought for a similar reason.its going to be me mowing really! I haven't got a lawn so I'm not familiar with lawnmowers.anyone got a gtech??! She has a leaflet with 20% off.moneys not a problem tho she just wants it mowing.thanks for any advice!!

From my experience the Gtech mowers are fine as long as you don't let the grass get too long, or try to cut it when its very wet.

In the Which? Review of cordless mowers, GTech was placed 26 out of 55 with a score of 65%.

The top four were
Bosch Rotak 43 81%
Ego LM1903 80%
Stihl RMA 339 78%

Just a thought, would it not be cheaper to pay someone to cut the grass? We pay £10 a week for someone to cut my mums grass.

I had a Bosch. Came with 2 batteries and a fast charger good for a large lawn.
Have you thought about a robotic lawn mower?

Thanks everyone! I spoke to mum who hadnt realised quite how expensive the gtech was.we are getting a Bosch for her now.
