Can I move a Hot Lips?

I recently pruned it but have now decided my hots lips plant is in the wrong place.  Can I move it?  Will it suffer at all?  Thanks x

I have moved "shrubby" salvias in the past and would say yes. As long as the ground isn't frozen or waterlogged it should be fine. I'd prepare the hole first, and when you dig it out, be prepared that the rootball might be bigger than you expect  :)

I would probably wait until the frosts have passed so you don't shock it. It won't be enjoying the cold much as it is.

Dig it up asap, put it into a pot somewhere sheltered, (I know they are not considered "hardy" everywhere) plant it when slightly warmer
