Terracotta pot availability

Hi all,

Perhaps I’m late to the realisation but is it hard to get hold of terracotta pots now?

I bought 3 basic 40cm pots at £12.99 each two years ago, now the vendor (Primrose) isn’t selling them at all.

There are quite a few suppliers online, and garden centres often stock them - the handmade ones are expensive, but places like Homebase have cheap, machine-made terracotta pots.

I visited several local GC's last week looking for pots to go by my front door.
Plenty of terracotta pots at all of them

I cant find any online, can you give an example from the ones you have found?

Homebase don’t deliver terracotta pots but you’ve probably got a store nearby.

Just make sure you get frost proof not just frost resistant if they will stay out all winter.

Not available at any location within  range, which is kind of my point

Are you looking for small ones in which to take cuttings or display plants like sempervirens or auriculas or do you want big ornamental jobs?

Thanks Obelixx.  Well, more of the 40cm terracotta pots in the OP would be a start

Homebase don’t have any

World of pots don’t have any

The Red Mud Hut have no 35cm and only 2x45cm at £75 apiece

The cheapest pot available at the Terracotta Company if £55 and it’s only 25x35cm

Is anyone starting to see what I mean..?
