What is this tree?!

I’ve inherited this tree and have no clue what it is, any ideas? Many thanks!

    It looks like Sambucus nigra to me, and from the purple colour of the leaves and their shape, it could be 'Eva' which is a lovely variety.

    I agree, also possibly S. nigra 'Black lace'.
    EDit : Oops - same thing! :)

    I agree, I'm pretty sure Black Lace has been renamed Eva ( but I might be wrong )
