Online gardening courses

Are there any free courses out there for all things gardening and if so does anyone have any recommendations for any please?

I very much doubt it!  The subject's far too complex.  Why not workout the sort of thing you'd like to grow, then find a book on the subject and go from there.  You only have to look at the multiplicity of topics on here to get the feel, but a local association would be good for 'networking' with other members who'll be only too glad to share their experiences.

If you're looking to increase your knowledge for gardening at home rather than professional horticulture then there's lots of info on gardeners world website. I've found it really useful, lots of advice and I often start by looking up something and then following links to other things. I've got a bad habit though which is planting something or sowing seeds and only then finding out more, just to realise I've done it wrong 🤦😂 some stuff survives and some goes down as a "learning experience". I consider my garden a work in progress, I'm guessing it'll be the same for many years to come.
