Allium Purple sensation

Just discovered  a bag of Purple sensation bulbs in my potting shed that should have gone in the ground ages ago - am I too late to plant now? There is a little bit of growth on them.....

What have you got to lose.......put them in the ground now. If they don't rally this year then they will be there for the future.
  • As Ceres says! You can't just keep them in the bag for another year - they'll grow regardless in reponse to the changing temperature, then die through lack of water/light - whereas if planted, they might manage enough green growth to feed up the bulb for next year - suppose they might flower too, as the flower was probably developed inside the bulb ages ago.
  • Thanks will give them a go
