Hello can anyone let me know how long have i got to devide my water lilly or is it too late for this year thank you

Definitely not too early.  If you can, try to buy some of the special fertiliser pellets that you can get for them.  You shove them into the pot, in Spring, and it will increase your chances of them flowering (dividing them will also encourage them to flower).
