Can I move my new tulips from their pots into the ground before they flower or am I best leaving them alone now? I'd really like them in the ground but will it disturb them too much?
If they’re really well rooted and you can lift the entire rootball without it breaking up the you can take the clump from the pot and plant it without disturbing the roots.
A simpler and safer way is to make the planting hole and sink the pot into the ground.
