hole in the ground - Bristol (Hanham area)

  • I think that could be a rat hole. Is there a bird feeder near by? I'm going on hole diameter in relation to the emerging violets.

    I think you’re right @rachelQrtJHBjb ... the size and the fan shaped patch of excavated soil which is typical of rat holes.

    There is no food /bird feeder in the garden at all. But I am just a few meters away from the back of a little takeaway. Time to investigate!

    It might be an idea to contact the local authority Environmental Health Officer, if there are rats close to a takeaway ... they'll need dealing with PDQ
