P!ease can someone let me know when is the best time to prune a rosemary bush? Also can I be quite harsh with it as it is taller than I would like it to be? Thank you

You can cut back rosemary quite hard, so long as you steer clear of the old, dead wood part of the plant, that won’t regenerate if you cut into it.
I’d leave it until the risk of frost has passed.
If you want flowers this year, wait until it has bloomed.

I think I read somewhere that the flowers were good for pollinators as rosemary flowers early in the season, late Spring?
You can use the prunings as kebab skewers apparently. I keep meaning to do it but don't seem to get round to it.
