Loquat tree fungus

Hello, would anyone be able to help? We’ve got a lovely loquat tree which has just developed brown spot and what looks like black mould.

I have removed all infected leaves and sprayed with fungus clear ultra.

Is there anything else that can be done?

I am afraid that I know nothing about loquat trees, so can't really offer any advice, but I'm commenting so that your post gets bumped back up to the top of the "recent discussions" again - hopefully someone will see it and be able to help!

Generally, established Loquat trees tend to be tough and free of issues. They need good air circulation and if this is a newly planted tree, I would prune back the areas and wait and see how it responds in the spring//summer time. The areas where there are black bits look like damage from a recent cut/prune so best remove.

In rare cases, they can be affected by Fire-blight, so it is important to prune any suspect areas out to limit spread.
