RHS Level 2 - PH level/characteristics of potting media

Evening everyone! Does anyone know the PH levels as characteristics (water retention, drainage etc) of potting medias, i.e composted bark, coir, peat based etc. I’m meant to know this for the RHS Level 2 course. Many thanks

I'm unsure as to whether there are accepted levels for the RHS course but personally I wouldn't trust anything on a packet or in manufacturer's blurb simply because there are so many variables. The Ph system was invented by a scientist working for the Carlsberg brewing firm so there's a lot of "Probables" too.
