Name that bush!

edited February 2021 in Plants
Hello!

I was hoping that someone could please help me identify what this bush is?

Also, if someone does know what this is, I’d be super keen to get any tips on how to prune/ cut back without killing it as it’s got a bit unwieldy but the birds seem to absolutely love it!

I’ve attached a photo of it from spring last year below. It’s an evergreen, has small white flowers and dark berries.

Many thanks in advance to anyone who can help!

    It looks like viburnum (sp?)

Can we have a close up of the leaves and the flowers?  It could be a viburnum but which one?  It could be something else.  When was that picture taken?

It does look very similar to Viburmun Tinus

The photo in the original post was taken in April last year

Above is a close up taken in early September last year. I recently moved into the property and only realised there was a rose planted next to (or virtually right on top of) this bush after I saw that valiantly pushed its way out. Another reason why I’m keen to cut it back!
