Another Acer pruning question - but a quick one

B3B3 Posts: 25,252
I think I pruned my acer at the right time - a few weeks ago. It didn't bleed. Whew!
No main branches were cut, just very thick twigs .
One or two have a few inches of dead wood at the ends. Should I cut these off or leave them?

I cut them off when I'm sure frosts are done.
