English Yew Hedging
Hi all,
I am looking to plant a hedge around my front garden, offering an evergreen boundary, as well as a wind/weather break given our positioning. The length of my garden borders along a neighbours driveway and I was wondering if anyone has any understanding of the root system of the English Yew and if they may 'creep' and cause any damage to the driveway. I was going to plant young bare root plants around 18" from the border and of course, above ground, I will be pruning a clear edge, but what about beneath the ground?
Many thanks
