I want

I want to fertilize several plants that are under landscape membrane by using liquid horse manure but don't have a recipe. Can anyone help, please?

  • Easy:  Put horse manure in a porous woven bag, such as a sack etc. and immerse it in a bucket of water for a week.  To use, dilute the resulting liquid so that it looks like weak tea.  No need for more complex recipes. :)
A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.
  • Thank you for this. About how much manure do I use? Should it fill the bucket or be about half full?

Doesn't really matter, maybe about half and top up with water. You're going to dilute the liquid to the right strength (weak tea colour) anyway, so it doesn't matter if it turns out strong to begin with.
