Moving Gladioli

I need to move some gladioli. Is it better to dig them up now, dry and store them and then replant in the new location later, or dig them up, and replant into pots now? Thanks.

    They won't have started growing yet. Some of mine still have green tops on.  Dig them up. Store them somewhere cool. Plant in March.
