jacaranda problem

I have a jacaranda grown from seed 4 or 5 years ago, in winter it's kept in a  slightly heated greenhouse 5C minimum temperature. It loses its leaves, but grows nicely again all summer. This winter I cut it back to 0.5 m and put it in the house. It has grown vigorous new shoots, but they get a nasty growth (fungal?) on the leaf stalks. The leaves remain healthily green but the whole leaf stalk falls off. Any suggestions?

@PterodactylMike Welcome to the forum.  :)  Your post seems to have slipped by without a response which can easily happen if there is no one around at the time who has an answer. Your query isn't something I can help you with but this time there may be a member on the forum who will read your post and help you out.
  • Thank you Fran. So are you saying just leave it where it is for a few days and maybe someone will respond? Or should I have posted it somewhere else eg "problem solving"?

Not a plant I am familiar with, as it's mainly grown in more warmer areas. Maybe post a photo of the issue. Someone may recognise the issue.
  • Thanks Borderline. The growth is on the leaf stalk running from top left to bottom right in the photo. The leaflet stalks and the leaves seem perfectly ok, as is also the young shoot.

@PterodactylMike  It was perfectly OK to start your thread as you did. It's just if you don't get a response within a couple of days there will have been many more threads posted and yours could be missed completely. As you can see that just bringing it back to the "front page" gets a response as @Borderline has shown. Now you have a photo you may get a definite answer to your problem.
