Waste of time planting wallflower seeds now?

KmehKmeh Posts: 168
Morning!

I've got a few packets of wallflowers that I didnt get around to planting.  Any chance if I started them out inside and moved to unheated greenhouse in say Feb that they may flower this summer?

Thank you!

    No

But they might flower next year.😊

If you live in Derbyshire, as I do.
  • Wallflower are actually short lived perennials, but gardeners use them as biennials because they tend to go woody and straggley after the first flowering period. So you can grow them this year for next.

Keep your seeds until start of May next year, then they will flower the following year.
