Is that the same way that Trump insists that the Democrats stole the election in the US? Whose eyes were opened - people who wanted to see a conspiracy? Don't you think that Trump's supporters actually think they have been defrauded? Have they been?

Again, you need detail don't you? What did the BBC say that was wrong. What exactly was reported, when, where, who.

Not worth replying with a single instance to. You don't watch the BBC up here, so you can't watch it. The propaganda is daily, and it is relentless. Outright lies, and distortion by omission.
I don't really want to get into politics on here, so i'll leave it at that.

Isn't that the issue though? I bet the Trump supporters say the same. They take a 'source' (in this case Trump) and believe that source over others. When challenged, even via the courts, they then accuse the courts of being corrupt. But is that not just propaganda that they want to believe? The supports want to believe Trump, they want to believe his propaganda. They will not accept other sources.

When it happens next - and you see miss reporting - get the time etc (the detail) and post it here. I'm sure I'd be able to find a feed on the net to see what you're quoting.

I find 'belief' a scary thing. On one hand it's the force that helps man advance, and on the other it holds man back. I try not to 'believe' anything that I can't reasonably substantiate. I hold views that I hope are open to change as the evidence does.

Bear with me. I need to see what the issue was with what the 'financial people' said compared to Alex - as that first video doesn't adress that. I think Nick's question was (paraphrased) '...why should the people believe you over what financial people say...' - so without knowing what was said, it's hard to assess whether Alex then did answer that question or whether Alex just answered questions from a 'straw man' as in:

'A straw man (sometimes written as strawman) is a form of argument and an informal fallacy of having the impression of refuting an argument, whereas the proper idea of argument under discussion was not addressed or properly refuted. One who engages in this fallacy is said to be "attacking a straw man"..'

...If so, I think he was right to ask the question as if RBS had no benefit in re-domiciling, then why do it and the full implications of that had to be understood. If that isn't what led up to the question Balgay, can you let me know what was?
