    But a better year would be disastrous for curmudgeons ... they’d have less to feel justifiably curmudgeonly about and they’d have to resort to whinging about insignificant niggles and irritations ... where would we be then? 🙄

    I think probably the next step will be both the Celebrity dog owners and their Celebrity dogs being groomed at the same time.
    High chairs for the celebs and slightly lower chairs for the dogs.  Or simply all at the same height and run a razor over the lot :D

    Today, this ” crappy ” year 2020 is in its final hours. In papi Jo’s garden it will end up … on the compost heap.

    We would get curmudgeonly about other people being curmudgeonly about things which aren't worth being curmudgeonly about.  Or get curmudgeonly about people who manage to use 'curmudgeonly' multiple times in the same sentence. :D
