Planting pink pagoda
in Plants
Hello
ive bought a pink pagoda tree for the front garden as I’ve seen some lovely smallish ones in front gardens nearby. But now it’s arrived I’ve started to worry that it’s going to be much too big for the front garden - it’s a bare root tree and is already close to 7 foot tall. I was going to plant it in the middle of the front lawn so would only be around 3 meters from the house. the label says it can grow to 7m x 7m!! I think I should have done my research better. Not sure how the ones nearby which I always admire have been kept so compact or maybe they’re just young trees.

I would plant it. Even if it grows more quickly than stated you could enjoy 5-10 years of its blossom and fruit before taking it out. It is less vigorous than many other options.
