What to do with Gladioli bulbs

I have been given a few Gladioli bulbs and have read advice to dry them out somewhere warm - then store in salad compartment of the fridge. I don’t have enough space in my fridge so it’s either the very cool attic or my shed (which might be more inclined to damp)  Any advice?

I have kept them in the shed over winter.  If you think there might be heavy frosts, pack them in a seed tray in  sand. , right way up.  Too much heat , like in the house and they will dry out. Too wet and they could freeze and rot, however most of mine stay in the garden  soil year on year. I lose some but not many.
