Can anyone identify this plant?

Hi Community, I  think this plant is maybe a rosebay, I am struggling to identify it. Please can any expert help? Thanks in advance

    It could be one of the willowherbs, but it's hard to be sure without flowers. Either keep it until it flowers and then we can ID it for you, or pull it out. It might die back over the winter and reappear in spring.
    Doncaster, South Yorkshire. Soil type: sandy, well-drained
  • Do you feed the birds? If so do you use niger seeds?
    Looks similar to the niger plant that grew under our feeders last year.

    Hi Nicole58. It looks very much like Achillea ptarmica but as JennyJ says, leaving it until it flowers might make for a more definite identification.

    It could be Horseweed, Erigeron Canadensis.
